The Partners of Sullivan Festeryga LLP are pleased to announce the addition of two new Associates. L. Kathleen Watson and Curtis C. Zizzo joined Sullivan Festeryga LLP following their Call to the Bar on June 20, 2008.
Kathleen practices in the area of Civil Litigation with a focus on Insurance Defence and Accident Benefits Litigation. She articled with Sullivan Festeryga and returned to the firm as an Associate after her Call to the Bar in 2008. Before completing her J.D. from the University of Toronto in 2007, she received her Masters degree from the University of British Columbia in Anthropology. While attending UBC, Kathleen received the Canadian Japanese Mennonite Scholarship for work which assists the protection of minority and human rights and presented her work to the American Anthropological Associations Annual Meeting.
Curtis was born and raised in Hamilton and practices primarily in Civil Litigation, Criminal and Real Estate Law. He articled at Sullivan Festeryga and then joined the firm as an Associate upon his Call to the Bar in 2008. He received his L.L.B. from Dalhousie University in 2007. Curtis also has an interest in Environmental Law and is currently developing a practice in this area.
Sullivan Festeryga LLP also welcomes two new Articling Students, Jasmina Mrkalj and Matthew L. Gibson to the firm. Both will join our team during the 2008 summer.
